American Swim Academy, with 5 Bay Area locations in Fremont, Newark, Livermore, Dublin, and Walnut Creek, is looking for a career-driven Assistant Director. Under the leadership of the Director, the Assistant Director is responsible for the overall performance and success of the swim school.

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday. The schedule will vary with opening and closing shifts. Must be able to work some nights as late as 8:45 pm.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the safety of our members and staff by actively monitoring the safety of the swimmers, ensuring all staff members are regularly trained, aware of, and immediately respond to safety issues.
• To mentor, train, and develop all staff members.
• To regularly interact with members, and create an environment focused on exceeding their expectations.
• To exceed revenue, capacity, and occupancy expectations.
• To teach high-quality swim lessons to children and adults.

Compensation

• $62,400 - 63,440 Annual Salary (based on location)
• Quarterly Bonus*
• A quarterly bonus is earned based on revenue achievement.

Compensation: $70,304.00 per year

American Swim Academy has been teaching the Bay Area to swim since 1973. Our goal is to promote water safety, comfort, and stroke technique for all ages and all abilities. Year-round and small class ratios offer personalized instruction, 7 days a week. Our indoor pools are heated to a comfortable 92° and have been designed specifically for swim instruction.
