Job summary

The Woodlands is seeking an Assistant Dining Room Manager (Full-Time) in Fairfax, VA to supervise dining room staff and ensure top-tier service while maintaining no late-night shifts.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Director of Dining Services & Executive Chef, training staff, scheduling, and upholding safety and sanitation standards; assist guests with menu explanations and recommendations.

Qualifications

Food service management or supervisory experience required.
Ability to maintain good relationships with staff at all levels and work independently.
Ability to work under stress and follow directions.
Willing to work with senior population.
Strong knowledge of safety and sanitation.

Supervise Dining Room and service staff to ensure superior service for our guests.
Inspect the Dining Room, Bistro, Private Dining Room, storage closet and organize accordingly.
Escort customers to their tables, explain menu items that residents have questions about and make recommendations.
Coordinate all functions with the Director of Dining Services & Executive Chef and execute in a timely professional manner.
Training and Scheduling of dining room staff.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager, Supervisor, or Administrator.

No Late Hours! Out by 8:30pm Mon-Saturday and 3:30pm on Sunday
Flexibility to work every other weekend

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
