Job summary

Rose Senior Living is hiring a part-time Assistant Dining Room Manager (11:00 PM–7:30 AM). You will assist the Dining Room Manager with planning, staffing, and coordinating dining room activities while ensuring courteous service and adherence to standards.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 3 years of restaurant or senior living experience or equivalent staff management. Ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate in English is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 3 years restaurant or senior living experience, or equivalent staff management experience
• Ability to stand/walk most of the day; lift up to 50 lbs; communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Supervise dining room area and server stations when needed
• Coordinate seating for residents and guests
• Assist Dining Room Manager with staffing and scheduling
• Schedule stations and assignments for wait staff
• Record meal counts, reservations and POS charges
• Communicate with Dining Room Manager and Executive Chef on issues
• Cross-train with dietary aides
• Report equipment damage and participate in cost controls
• Assist with inventories and attend training sessions
• Perform duties as assigned by Manager
