Job summary

Rose Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Dining Room Manager on a part-time schedule (11:00 PM–7:30 PM). The role supports the Dining Room Manager in planning, organizing, and directing dining room operations to ensure courteous, efficient service and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in restaurant or senior living settings, strong leadership, and experience with POS systems and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years restaurant or senior living experience, or equivalent serving and staff management experience.
• Ability to stand/walk 90% of the shift; lift up to 50 pounds; read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dining Room Manager with planning, organizing, directing and coordinating dining room activities.
• Supervise the dining room area, seating, staffing, scheduling and training.
• Record meal counts, reservations and charges; operate POS system.
• Confer with Dining Room Manager on dining room status and issue resolutions.
• Cross-train with dietary aides and participate in inventories and cost-control measures.
