Job summary

Solomon Page is hiring an Assistant Digital Manager for a top beauty company in NYC. This freelance, 6-month position is hybrid, with responsibilities spanning digital content, CRM campaigns, and platform management across major retailers.

The role requires 3–5 years in eCommerce or digital marketing, hands-on CRM experience (Klaviyo), and strong analytical and cross-functional coordination skills. Compensation is hourly in NYC, with a formal CRM/content workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, CRM, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of digital merchandising, retailer ecosystems, and content best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Klaviyo and eCommerce or analytics tools such as Amazon Vendor Central, Salsify, or Profitero.
  • Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong communication, organization, quality-control, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned deliverables while seeking guidance on complex or high-impact decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of digital content across major retail partners, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Ulta.
  • Create, update, and optimize product detail pages, brand stores, and enhanced content, including ATF/BTF content, SEO copy, imagery, and banners.
  • Coordinate with brand, creative, and sales teams to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign priorities, and retailer requirements.
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as conversion, traffic, and engagement; summarize findings and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Execute A/B tests and other experiments in partnership with senior team members, and document results and next steps.
  • Maintain the content lifecycle through routine audits, updates, quality checks, and competitive reviews.
  • Execute CRM campaigns, automated lifecycle flows, and onsite pop-ups in alignment with the approved CRM strategy.
  • Coordinate content development, quality assurance, scheduling, and deployment within platforms such as Klaviyo.
  • Maintain monthly campaign calendars and track deliverables across cross-functional partners.
  • Monitor campaign performance, including open rate, click-through rate, conversion, acquisition, and email deliverability; prepare recurring reports and insights.
  • Support testing, audience segmentation, retention, and database growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate targeted CRM campaigns and landing page experiences for key brand activations.
  • Support day-to-day administration and use of platforms including Salsify (PIM/DAM), Profitero, and Syndigo.
  • Maintain product data, content syndication, and digital shelf reporting to promote accuracy and retailer compliance.
  • Troubleshoot routine platform and content issues, escalating complex matters to senior team members, IT, or platform partners as needed.
  • Assist with platform training, documentation, user adoption, and process improvements across teams.
  • Use platform insights to support content recommendations, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Coordinate with IT and global teams on platform enhancements, testing, and roadmap deliverables.
