Job summary

HMR Veteran's Services, LLC is hiring a Dietetic Services Director to oversee daily dietary operations and ensure quality nutritional services in compliance with state and federal standards.

The role requires a supervised dietary program, collaboration with the Dietitian, and robust cost-control and food management experience to maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited dietetic training program approved by the American Dietetic Association.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or related medical setting.
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
• Registered Food Service Director in this state.

Responsibilities

• To assist the Dietary Manager and the Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the Dietary Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Key Qualifications

• Must have, at a minimum, a high school diploma.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited course in dietetic training approved by the American Dietetic Association.
• Must have, at a minimum, 2 year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Must have training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
• Must be registered as a Food Service Director in this state.
