IHL Group is seeking an Assistant Designer to join our Ladies Intimates division in New York. This role supports the design team with weekly tasks, market research, and creation of inspiration boards while developing garments and technical packages.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in fashion design or related field.
• Experience creating tech packs/BOMs.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and related design tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with market apparel, graphic, and technique research.
• Create inspiration boards and sketch garments.
• Recolor CADs and prints for line sheets as needed.
• Work closely with production team to initiate fabric/trim sourcing and create technical packages.
• Create presentation boards and help prepare for meetings/market week.
