Job summary

Isaac Morris Limited (IML) is seeking a Sleepwear Designer to join our New York office. You will turn line direction into stylish sleepwear designs and drive samples through from concept to production-ready stages, collaborating with product development and overseas factories.

You will manage artwork/CADs, lead tech packing and fit reviews, and shape packaging/merchandising concepts while tracking trends and presenting to buyers.

Responsibilities

• Interpret seasonal line direction into original sleepwear designs across licensed/branded programs.
• Partner with product development and overseas factories to develop samples with correct fabric, construction, and print.
• Create and maintain artwork, CADs, and tech-ready design files.
• Own tech packing, sketching, and fit reviews; maintain organized design library.
• Develop packaging and merchandising concepts to bring programs to life at retail.
• Build polished presentation decks for internal reviews and buyer meetings with strong storytelling.
• Lead trend research and translate market analysis into actionable design direction.
• Conduct competitive shop analyses to keep assortments ahead of the market.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, sales, and licensing teams to meet customer/licensor requirements.
