Summary: IHL Group is looking for a passionate Assistant Designer to join our Ladies Intimates division! This Designer will be responsible for assisting in weekly functions and tasks. This position is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a leading company within the fashion industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with market apparel/graphic/ techniques research.
• Create inspiration boards and sketch garments.
• Recolor CADs and prints for line sheets as needed.
• Work closely with production team to initiate fabric/trim sourcing and create technical packages.
• Create presentation boards and help prepare for meetings/market week.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of industry experience.
• Design internship experience is a plus!
• A strong knowledge of garment construction for generating tech packs/BOMs.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Fashion Design and or Product Development.
• Proficiency in ADOBE Creative Suite such Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and photoshop.

Job Logistics

Location: New York, NY - Midtown West

Schedule: We are operating in-office Monday-Friday.

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $40,000-$55,000
