The Bureau of Engineering Design & Construction (BEDC) oversees capital projects valued at over $23.8 billion, supporting DEP's infrastructure.
IHD’s Civil Section within BEDC is responsible for designing sustainable civil engineering projects for water supply and wastewater facilities, including site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and construction support.
BEDC seeks to hire an Assistant Civil Engineer for IHD’s Civil Section at our Queens, NY headquarters. Under supervision, the candidate will assist in project design and construction, preparing engineering documents, conducting investigations, reviewing shop drawings, and coordinating with stakeholders.
