Job summary

Lowes Foods in Clemmons, NC is seeking a Deli Manager to supervise the deli department, achieve sales goals, maintain guest service standards, merchandising programs, and safety compliance. You will assume the duties of the Department Manager in their absence.

You will lead staff, provide training, manage scheduling and labor budgets, ensure product quality, and uphold Lowes Foods standards for sanitation and guest service while delivering a positive shopping experience.

• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Knowledge of deli operations.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Able to work with computers.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department's labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Performs PA announcements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
