Job summary

SMU seeks an Assistant Dean of Full-time/MS Graduate Admissions to lead the Cox School of Business portfolio, including MBA (1-Year/2-Year), MSA, MSBA, MSAIB, MSF, MSM, and MSEM. Overseeing 500+ students and $25M in revenue, the role drives recruitment, admissions, yield, and enrollment growth.

The role provides day-to-day leadership for the Full-Time and MS Admissions team and partners with senior leadership, Student Services, Career Center, and Marketing to deliver an exceptional student

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required. MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of ten years of professional experience, with at least three years of management experience.
• Some admissions experience is also required, preferably with MBA admissions.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication with stakeholders across the University.

Responsibilities

• Develop FT MBA and MS portfolio strategy aligned with Cox strategy.
• Lead and manage the Full-Time and MS Admissions team.
• Execute recruitment, application, assessment, and yield processes.
• Collaborate with leadership, Student Services, Career Center, Alumni Outreach, faculty, and Marketing.
