Job summary

Strategic Education, Inc SEI is seeking an Assistant Dean for the School of Nursing & Health Sciences to drive academic quality, strategic portfolio management, faculty excellence and learner success. The role partners with the Dean in governance, oversight of curriculum development, and accreditation activities while promoting remote collaboration and cross-functional teamwork across the university.

Travel up to 10% may be required, with a starting pay range reflecting market norms for senior

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years teaching in higher education, preferably online.
• Progressive leadership experience in academic administration.
• Experience with nursing accreditation processes and regulatory compliance.
• Experience developing nursing programs, curriculum, program assessment, and continuous quality improvement.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure academic quality and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Develop and implement strategic and operating plans for the school.
• Oversee accreditation and external approval efforts.
• Lead faculty staffing, governance, and engagement initiatives.
