Job summary

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville seeks an Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Programs to lead the School of Nursing's undergraduate initiatives. This 12-month fiscal appointment focuses on program excellence, student success, accreditation compliance, and alignment with institutional priorities.

The role reports to the Dean of the School of Nursing and collaborates with leaders across the university and clinical partners to advance undergraduate education.

Qualifications

• Earned PhD, DNP, or equivalent doctoral degree (preferably in nursing).
• Eligible for faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
• Licensed or eligible for RN licensure in Illinois and Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative oversight for all undergraduate nursing programs, including Traditional BS, Accelerated BS, and RN-BS programs.
• Oversees curriculum development, implementation, evaluation, and quality improvement across undergraduate programs.
• Ensures accreditation compliance and leads program reporting processes.
