Job Description And Responsibilities
  • Assist and oversee the daily operations of the Winged Foot Day Camp including staff schedules, camp schedule/activities, and field trips/vendors
  • Assist the Manager of Youth Programs with promotion and planning of the Winged Foot Day Camp
  • Ensure the Winged Foot Day Camp is compliant with the Westchester Department of Health and take lead on any visits
  • Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment for campers
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations of the Club
  • Handle crisis, emergency, behavioral, and medical responses as needed
  • Manage customer contact, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
  • Be flexible to meet changing work needs and demands
  • Must be on site and attend pre-camp training in June 2025
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Bachelor's Degree in education, sports management, or youth development preferred
  • 24 weeks of previous administrative or supervisory experience at a camp
  • Pass NYS and national background check
  • Valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification
  • Transportation to and from Travers Island required
  • Availability for 40 hours per week during June-August 2025
  • Excellent communication and team skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
