Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of food service experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and directing Culinary Services team members.
• Stepping in to perform Cook and Dietary Aide duties when needed.
• Assisting with planning, coordinating, and executing events and catering.
• Ensuring food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Support daily operations and back-fill Culinary Manager when unavailable.
• Collaborate with dietitian and director regarding therapeutic diets.

Your responsibilities will include:Supervising and providing day-to-day direction to Culinary Services team membersDelegating responsibilities and assignments to help the department operate efficientlyStepping in to perform Cook and Dietary Aide responsibilities when neededAssisting with planning, coordinating, and executing special events and catering functionsCollaborating with the Culinary Manager, Dietitian, and Director of Nursing regarding residents’ therapeutic dietsAssisting with food preparation and operating food production equipment when neededMonitoring food and dietary supply inventory and helping identify ordering needsEnsuring food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines are consistently followedSupporting daily operations and assuming Culinary Manager responsibilities when the manager is unavailableHelping create a positive, organized, and team-focused work environmentWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a dependable leader who understands food service operations and knows how to bring out the best in a team.
