Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. in Maumee, Ohio is seeking a seasoned accounting leader to direct accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in GAAP and SEC contexts.

Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Controller & Investor Relations, you will lead policy development, close processes, audits, and collaboration with external auditors. The role requires guiding internal controls, preparing materials for Audit Committee, and mentoring Senior Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred).
• Experience with GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct accounting operations ensuring timely, accurate financial information.
• Lead monthly/quarterly/annual close processes and external reporting.
• Develop accounting policies; communicate changes and interpretations.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and Audit Committee materials.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and support investor relations messaging.
