South Colonie Central School District is seeking an Assistant Cook Manager at Colonie Central High School, West Wing. You will assist in staffing, food preparation, ordering, record keeping, and maintaining sanitation standards.

The role requires knowledge of large-scale cooking, ability to follow directions, and a friendly demeanor with students and staff. Schedule P per CSEA contract includes a 7.0 hour day from 6:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Qualificações

• Good knowledge of proven methods of food preparation.
• Working knowledge of modern cooking utensils, appliances and equipment.
• Ability to keep simple records and submit reports.
• Ability to get along well with children and adults.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Six (6) months of experience in large-scale cooking.

POSITION TITLE: (1) Assistant Cook Manager

REPORTING TO: Food Service Director/Assistant Food Service Director/Cook Manager I

CURRENT LOCATION: Colonie Central High School - West Wing

HOURS: 7.0hours per day -6:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday - Friday

START DATE: ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES: To support and assist the cook manager in all phases of staffing, food preparation and ordering, record keeping and maintaining of sanitation standards.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: Schedule P per CSEA Contract ($28,618.00)

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Good knowledge of provenmethods of food preparation;
• Working knowledge of modern cooking utensils, appliances and equipment;
• Ability to keep simple records and submit reports;
