Union City Community Schools seeks a part-time kitchen assistant to support the head cook with meals, service and cleanup. The role includes dishwashing, stock rotation, paperwork, and ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas.

Hours run 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM on school days, with flexibility to cover 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic computer literacy, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist head cook with meal preparation, service and clean-up, washing dishes, food ordering and stock rotation. Completion of paperwork and overall cleanliness of kitchen, storage areas and all equipment.. Hours are 7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday when school is in session. Must be able to work 6:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. when needed to fill in for head cook.
