Coda Search│Staffing is hiring a Finance Manager/Assistant Controller for a private investment firm in NYC. The role crosses Tax, Reporting, Accounting and Financial Operations under the CFO. You will lead the close process, prepare quarterly and annual financials, and oversee investor statements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fund accounting or audit, CPA, and Big 4 experience, with SEC reporting familiarity and real estate PE/debt exposure. Proficiency in Excel and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in fund accounting and/or auditing.
• Exposure to real estate private equity and real estate debt structures.
• CPA and BS in Accounting required; Big 4 experience preferred.
• Strong SEC reporting knowledge (10-K, 10-Q) and experience with public companies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff with capital calls, waterfall distributions, and quarterly/annual financials with workpapers.
• Manage close process and financial reporting for Real Estate/PE Fund.
• Prepare expense and accrual analyses for timely quarterly reporting.
