Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, ideally within the retail real estate sector. The Assistant Controller will oversee financial statement preparation, compliance, and investor reporting, ensuring transparency and strong financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail real estate.
• Strong understanding of real estate partnerships and investor structures.
• Experience with property management/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for retail properties.
• Oversee general ledger activity and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and review investor reporting packages and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and partnership agreements.
