Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead accounting in a real estate-focused operation. You will oversee the general ledger, ensure GAAP compliance, and deliver reliable financial reporting supporting strategic decisions.

This role supervises staff, coordinates audits, manages budgets, and strengthens internal controls to enable growth. A CPA is strongly preferred and a bachelor’s in accounting or finance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Ongoing professional education in accounting standards and regulations.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
