Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks an Assistant Controller to drive accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls for a portfolio of office properties. You will own day-to-day accounting, oversee monthly and quarterly closes, and review significant transactions to ensure GAAP and tax compliance.

You will partner with Asset Management and FP&A, support audits, strengthen reconciliations, and mentor Accounting Managers. This role reports to the Controller and Regional Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day accounting for an assigned portfolio of properties and oversee the financial close process for completeness and accuracy.
• Review significant accounting transactions to ensure GAAP, IFRS, and tax compliance and supervise month-end and quarter-end closes.
• Review and consolidate financial packages (NOI, SOX, co-owner reports, depreciation, budgets) and communicate results to stakeholders.
