New Western is seeking a proactive Assistant Controller to support the Controller in overseeing accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls across multiple business units including Corporate, Field accounting, Lending, and Title teams.

The role is based in Addison, Texas with hybrid work flexibility; strong GAAP knowledge and experience with NetSuite are essential to deliver reliable financial results for executive decision-making.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required or equivalent.
• CPA preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Multi-entity experience is critical and familiarity with GAAP.

Responsabilidades

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls; support executive decision-making with reliable financial results.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist with tax filings; monitor deadlines for regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff to foster a positive team culture.
