Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional Accounting/Finance with progressive responsibility
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years in public accounting strongly preferred
• 1+ year direct/indirect leadership experience
• Data management experience preferred (SQL, Progress, QAD/ERP systems)
• CPA strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day accounting for CPP-Eastlake including month end close, revenue, inventory, cash management, AR/AP
• Generate reporting packages daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly for Controller and GM with analytics and bridges on variances
• Drive cost accounting and manufacturing accounting initiatives to improve metrics and inventory management
• Interact with site personnel from Supervisors to Executives to provide financial information and training
• Provide oversight for internal and external audit activities and compliance efforts
• Responsible for P&L, balance sheet, and operational KPI variance analysis
• Review updates to standard costing, WIP routing, and Bill of Materials
• Partner with Controller to drive improvement initiatives across accounting
• Provide ROI and ad-hoc analyses to substantiate decisions and investments
• Leverage Excel and databases to support reporting and data management
• Lead monthly reconciliations and support audits and special projects
• Acquire additional certifications as required
• Comply with GAAP and FASB policies and procedures
• Attendance and participation in special projects
