Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks an experienced Assistant Controller for a Massillon manufacturing organization. You will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, partnering with plant leadership to drive profitability.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in accounting, a strong foundation in GAAP, and experience in manufacturing or plant accounting. CPA/CMA is preferred; the role offers comprehensive benefits and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing or plant accounting experience preferred.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities and close processes (monthly/quarterly/year-end).
• Prepare and review financial statements and general ledger activity.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support plant performance.
• Analyze operating costs with plant leadership to identify profitability opportunities.
• Maintain internal controls and support audits under GAAP.
