Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Eastlake seeks an Assistant Controller to partner with the plant Controller and drive financial visibility, reporting, and execution. You will support month-end close, variances, and operational metrics in a manufacturing setting.

You will provide strategic analysis, collaborate with the finance team, and assist in audits, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate financial statements.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent and bachelor's in Accounting/Finance.
• 5+ years in accounting/finance with progressive responsibility.
• 3+ years in manufacturing; 2+ years in public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day accounting for CPP-Eastlake, including month end close.
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with analytics and variance bridges.
• Drive cost and manufacturing accounting initiatives to improve metrics and inventory control.
• Interact with site staff and leadership, providing financial information and guidance.
• Provide oversight for internal and external audit activities and compliance.
• Responsible for P&L, balance sheet, and KPI variance analysis.
• Review updates to standard costing, WIP routing, and BOM.
• Partner with Controller on improvement initiatives and ad-hoc analyses.
