International Paper, a global leader in sustainable packaging, seeks a Financial Analyst in Richmond, VA. This role provides accounting and analytical support, analyzes performance, and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close to maximize financial results for the facility.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 3+ years of relevant experience (manufacturing experience preferred), and strong communication and analytical skills to influence

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, business or related field required; CPA or CMA a plus.
• 3+ years of accounting and/or finance experience; work experience in manufacturing facility highly desirable.
• Corrugated, printing, packaging and/or related finance experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general business management principles, internal financial management, and industry business practices. Demonstrated skills to influence peers and management. Demonstrated effective communication with business leaders at various levels and functions.

Mansioni

• Provide accounting and analytical support and help maximize the facility’s financial return.
• Work with the Controller in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close analysis.
• Develop and refine processes to improve accounting efficiencies and documentation.
• Assist in maintaining internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis including interpretation of professional standards and company policies.
• Prepare journal vouchers and participate in month-end close.
• Perform daily financial activities of the plant.
• Ensure timely processing of reports and data entry for research and reporting.
• Complete various reporting requirements and ensure compliance with policies.
• Support internal controls and assess financial transactions for proper treatment.
