Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within a professional services firm.
• Proficiency in financial statement prep, year-end close, treasury management, financial reporting, and monthly reporting.
• Extensive ledger/GL management, month-end close, and journal entries experience.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and audit procedures.
• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with other financial software.
• Strong leadership capabilities with team mentoring experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for presenting to non-finance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage treasury functions to ensure adequate cash flow.
• Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with external auditors.
• Provide leadership in developing short- and long-term financial objectives.
• Oversee trust accounting and maintain the ledger.
• Develop internal control policies and budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with management on presenting financial results and forecasts.
