Work Skills Corporation is seeking an accounting professional to lead and strengthen our accounting operations. Reporting to the President and CEO, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting support, audits, and internal controls while guiding accounting staff across multiple business lines.

This role emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and leadership development within a supportive nonprofit environment that values diversity and growth opportunities for its finance team.

Qualifications

• Accounting Expertise: Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
• Leadership Potential: Leadership experience is helpful, but a willingness to grow is equally valued.
• Multifaceted Experience: Background across multiple business units, industries, or lines of business is a plus.
• Nonprofit & For-Profit Knowledge: Experience in both environments is highly desirable.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
