Chartwells Higher Education, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking an Assistant Controller in Boise, Idaho. You will support the controller with financial reporting, close processes, and ad hoc requests for campus accounts in a fast-paced dining services environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least two years of accounting experience in a foodservice/retail setting, with strong Excel and analytical capabilities. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Tracks and maintains monthly P/L and balance sheet activity.
• Reviews general ledger and balance sheet.
• Resolves accounting/reconciliation issues.
• Assists with monthly, quarterly, annual reports and with close processes.
• Supports internal and external audit reporting and report preparation.
