Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education is hiring a Finance Controller (hospitality) on the campus dining team at Baylor University in Waco, TX. You will advise on day-to-day operations and financial performance across multiple campus locations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and working with leadership to drive improvements.

The ideal candidate brings bookkeeping, finance and accounting expertise, knowledge of internal controls, and experience with P/L management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2+ years experience with revenue control and financial reporting.
• Experience in foodservice or retail accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash handling procedures.
• Perform reconciliation and analysis for balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze financial results for internal and external use.
• Track and maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activity.
• Develop forecasts and budgets, identify risks/opportunities.
• Review general ledger and balance sheet.
• Ensure internal controls and accurate reporting.
