Job summary

Buffalo Builders, LLC is seeking a full-time Assistant Controller in Little Rock, AR to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy across multiple entities. You will manage the general ledger, close cycles, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting while coordinating with the Corporate Controller and Executive Team.

The role emphasizes internal controls, compliance, and process improvements, with a focus on automation and ERP optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in construction preferred
• CPA or equivalent experience preferred or strong FP&A/financial reporting background

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger for multiple entities and close cycles
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial reports
• Oversee intercompany transactions and allocations across entities
• Lead accounting team with coaching and performance management
• Identify automation opportunities and improve accounting processes with technology
