Job summary

Balanced Body is seeking an Assistant Controller to join the Accounting team in Sacramento, CA. You will oversee day-to-day ledger activity, assist with month-end close, prepare reports, and support tax and compliance efforts.

The role requires 2–4 years of general ledger experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, strong attention to detail, and solid communication. Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–4 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting records, ledgers, and reporting.
• Assist month- and year-end close processes.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and FX translations where needed.
• Support international accounting processes and consolidation per US GAAP.
• Generate periodic management reports and assist with tax/compliance.
