Job summary

County National Bank is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead technical accounting, financial statement consolidation, CECL model execution, and regulatory reporting. The role reviews journal entries and reconciliations, manages close timelines, and ensures examiner-ready documentation.

It also coordinates audits and assists with policy research and implementation. The position serves as a key succession role within accounting leadership, based on an on-site location across multiple CNB sites

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; comparable experience may be considered.
3–5 years of accounting and/or banking experience.

Responsibilities

Prepares and consolidates monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP, including footnotes and schedules.
Maintains internal controls and performs account reconciliations and journal entries oversight.
Reviews General Ledger daily and corrects errors; supervises staff work.
Prepares and reviews quarterly Call Reports and other regulatory documentation.
Maintains fixed assets, and investment accounting; assists with fair value analyses.
Supports month-end and year-end close processes; ensures timelines are met.
Assists with audited financial statements and related disclosures; supports CECL model development and testing.
