Job summary

Leading Global Credit Fund in New York, NY seeks an Assistant Controller to partner with Controllers and Senior Controller. You will gain exposure across accounting, operations, P&L, valuations, investor relations, and regulatory reporting, working with hedge funds, private equity structures, co-investments, fixed income, derivatives, and more.

The role offers 3 days in office with fully remote weeks throughout the year, and collaboration with teams across operations, legal, compliance, tax,

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of private fund accounting experience or combo of audit and fund accounting.
• Credit background essential.
• Strong technical skills across complex fund structures.

Responsibilities

• Guide and train junior accountants and manage third-party providers.
• Review NAV calculations, allocations, capital calls, distributions, and P&L.
• Review management and incentive fee calculations with various fee structures.
• Prepare and review quarterly financial statements and support annual audits.
• Liaise with the valuation team on private equity, real estate, and illiquid investments.
• Support investor relations including subscriptions, redemptions, and quarterly deliverables.
• Work with complex SPV structures across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support regulatory reporting including Form PF and AIFMD.
