Job summary

The Atlantic Group is seeking an Assistant Controller for its $15+ billion hedge fund to support finance, accounting and operations. The role reports to the CFO and COO and encompasses budgeting, internal controls, month-end NAV, cash, valuations, and investor reporting.

The position offers a path toward Controller/VP Finance, with in-office 2 days a week and 3 days remote, and a strong bonus potential alongside a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years of fund/hedge fund accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public/private.
• CPA is required.
• Experience with equities, options, swaps, and credit derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the CFO & COO.
• Assist in managing & building out accounting, finance & operations.
• Budgeting & forecasting.
• Assist in establishing internal control functions & process improvements.
• Manage & review the month-end NAV process.
• Cash management & reconciliations.
• Valuations.
• Management/performance fee calculations.
• Partnership allocations.
• Manage investor capital activities.
• Client & management reporting.
• Regulatory filings.
• Review of daily and monthly P&L.
• Oversee third-party vendors including fund administrator & external auditors.
• Manage year-end audit.
• Special projects.
