Job summary

JAMCO Interiors in Everett, WA is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to strengthen financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement within a complex aerospace manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Senior Controller, you will lead month-end close, prepare corporate reporting, review variances, and drive automation and controls across manufacturing costing, inventory, and ERP processes.

This role emphasizes financial-information quality, team development, and collaboration

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Generally 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong command of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
Experience with standard costing, inventory, and manufacturing accounting in aerospace/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities with accurate, timely reporting.
Prepare and review corporate financial-reporting packages and explanations.
Review significant variances, estimates, and changes in accounting judgments.
Improve consistency and usefulness of financial reporting and connect subsidiary to corporate requirements.
Lead balance-sheet reconciliation, journal entries, accruals, and intercompany activity reviews.
Oversee standard-cost setting, inventory integrity, and manufacturing variances.
Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Strategic Finance to align ERP data with reporting.
