Job summary

The role involves managing division reporting, month-end close, and preparation of key financial reports, with exposure to cash flow forecasting and intercompany reconciliations. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Newstar and Soloman are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
• Strong knowledge of Excel is necessary.
• Newstar and Soloman experience strongly preferred.
• Past experience in an accounting position with homebuilder is a plus.
• Credit report in good standing is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage division reporting and month-end close processes (weekly, month-end, quarterly).
• Prepare and review periodic operational reports (volume risk, backlog margin report).
• Assist with annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare division cash flow forecasts and supporting information.
• Prepare payroll calculations and various general ledger entries.
• Prepare and audit Weekly Unit and Weekly Sales Margin reports.
• Maintain accuracy of entries from fixed asset reporting system.
