Job summary

Taylor Morrison Inc. is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Controller and oversee the division’s financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, A/P and A/R.

Key duties include month-end close, division reporting, budgeting and forecast cycles, cash flow analysis, intercompany reconciliations, and maintaining the Newstar homebuilding software. Candidates should have a BA in finance or accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with Newstar and Solomon;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Excel; Newstar experience preferred.
• Solomon and Newstar experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for division reporting/month-end close process with review by Controller and VP Finance.
• Prepare division sales commissions and payroll calculations.
• Prepare monthly general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Assist AP admin with review of property tax payments.
• Prepare intercompany account reconciliations.
• Maintain system financial maintenance of Newstar homebuilding software.
