Job summary

Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee the daily audit and monthly close for hotel and F&B revenue, ensuring complete and accurate financial records and compliance with U.S. GAAP.

You will partner with operating teams across the property, drive process improvements with technology and AI tools, mentor junior staff, and support system implementations while maintaining SOX controls and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• 3–4 years’ nongaming revenue audit experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting/financial reporting systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and analytical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily audit and monthly close for hotel and F&B revenue audits, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with hotel, F&B operations and executives to provide responsive service.
• Lead adoption of technology-enabled process improvements, including AI tools.
• Assist with system implementations.
• Coach, develop, and mentor junior team members.
• Prepare and review reports for executive management.
• Maintain documentation of internal controls over financial reporting per SOX.
• Perform other duties and special projects.
