Job summary

Wynn Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Controller to ensure complete and compliant accounting records across hotel and F&B operations. You will own the monthly close, collaborate with hotel teams, and drive process improvements.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in accounting, 3–4 years in nongaming revenue audit, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and accounting systems; CPA or public accounting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• 3–4 years’ experience in nongaming revenue audit.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/financial reporting systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPA certification and/or public accounting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily audit and monthly close processes for hotel and F&B revenue audit departments; prepare, review, and post journal entries; prepare and review account and system reconciliations.
• Partner with hotel and F&B operations and executives, delivering courteous, professional service aligned with Wynn standards.
• Lead technology-enabled process improvements and automation, including AI tool adoption.
• Assist with system implementations.
• Coach, develop, and mentor junior team members.
• Prepare and/or review various reports for executive management.
• Maintain documentation of internal controls over financial reporting per SOX.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
