Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
• An understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• At least three to four years' experience in nongaming revenue audit.
• Proficiency in the use of various IT applications, including Microsoft Excel and accounting & financial reporting systems.
• Must have operational empathy and an understanding of the needs of all parts of the business.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships of trust with personnel at all levels of the organization.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading the daily audit and monthly close processes for Wynn's hotel and food & beverage revenue audit departments; including preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries, and preparing and reviewing account and system reconciliations.
• Partner with other departments (hotel and F&B operations and others) and company executives, providing responsive service in a courteous and professional manner at all times, in accordance with Wynn standards.
• Lead the adoption of technology-enabled process improvement and automation, including through the use of AI tools.
• Assisting with system implementations.
• Coach, develop, and mentor junior team members.
• Preparing and/or reviewing various reports for executive management review.
• Maintaining adequate documentation of internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
