Job summary

Marmon Group LLC is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Electrical Group VP Finance in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across Marmon's Electrical Group. The role partners with business unit controllers, drives close processes, and ensures compliance with Marmon policies.

This position offers exposure to senior leadership, potential mobility, and a path toward a Company Controller role within 2–3 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, controllership, or finance leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial statements, consolidations, and internal controls.
• Experience in multi-entity manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Experience with consolidation and financial reporting systems, including OneStream, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results across the Electrical Group.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting.
• Monitor month-end close activities and reporting deadlines across operating companies.
• Review significant balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and investigate issues with BU controllers.
• Support planning, budgeting, and long-range forecasting processes.
