The Marmon Group LLC in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Assistant Controller for Marmon Electrical Group to lead financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance across a multi-entity manufacturing organization. This role partners with BU controllers and senior finance leaders to ensure reporting integrity and drive performance.

Ideal candidates have a CPA, 7+ years of experience, expertise in US GAAP and OneStream, and a track record of process improvement.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or controllership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and internal controls.
• Experience in a multi-entity manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence across levels.
• Experience with consolidation and reporting systems, including OneStream.
• Leadership potential and goal to advance to Controller.
• Willingness to travel ~30%.

Mansioni

• Lead consolidation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual results; support month-end close and reconciliations.
• Promote GAAP compliance, internal controls, and SOX activities; address audit findings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with exec dashboards.
• Partner with BU controllers to improve performance and capital proposals.
• Lead finance transformation and process improvements across the group.
• Mentor and develop finance talent; prepare for future Controller role.
