Job summary

Marmon-Herrington Company, part of Marmon Holdings backed by Berkshire Hathaway, seeks an experienced accounting leader to drive month-end closings, financial reporting, and forecasting. You will ensure GL integrity, support budgets, forecasts, and board-level analyses, and work with internal and external auditors.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, a four-year accounting degree, and preferably MBA/CPA.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in accounting (required).
• MBA/CPA completed or in progress (preferred).
• At least 5–7 years of progressive accounting and managerial experience. Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform month-end closing procedures under US GAAP.
• Review balance sheets, P&L, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Forecast data and narrative for board books, budgets, and prior year analyses.
• Manage GL integrity, journal entries, and periodic reconciliations.
• Collaborate with auditors and support cross-functional planning and analysis.
