CFS, based in White Plains, NY, seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and to lead a growing accounting function onsite. You will work directly with senior leadership to ensure financial accuracy, robust internal controls, and strategic financial analysis.

The role requires CPA with 10+ years of accounting leadership, GAAP expertise, and advanced Excel skills.

Formación

• CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong GAAP and accrual-based accounting expertise, including financial statement preparation.
• Experience with multi-location or multi-entity organizations and advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, eliminations, and consolidations.
• Serve as the primary audit contact and prepare supporting schedules for auditors, lenders, and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls, improve accounting processes, and supervise accounting team members.
