Job summary

PLI Fabrication LLC is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the month-end close, prepare financial statements, and maintain rigorous accounting controls. This role partners with the CFO and departmental teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with GAAP.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing and cost accounting, with CPA certification or candidacy preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing cost accounting and month-end close preferred.
• CPA certification or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Coordinate with A/P, A/R, and CFO on reporting needs.
• Support audits, tax filings, and internal controls improvements.
• Assist with inventory costing and manufacturing cost analysis.
