Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including GL, close and reporting.
• Prior accounting leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong GAAP, internal controls, reconciliations, and financial statement prep.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to review complex reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with schedules.
• Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee GL activity including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, payroll entries.
• Support preparation and review of financial statements and variance explanations.
• Ensure timing and policy compliance with GAAP.
• Escalate close delays and GL questions to Controller.
