Job summary

Ruprecht Company in Mundelein, IL seeks an Assistant Controller to lead hands‑on accounting across Ruprecht and KPC. You will own month‑end close, financial reporting, and internal controls while coordinating treasury and external audits.

In this role you will oversee AR/AP, improve shared services workflows, and mentor the accounting staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• Significant hands‑on general ledger accounting, month‑end close, balance sheet reconciliations and US GAAP experience.
• Experience with multi‑entity consolidations, AR/AP oversight, treasury, external audits and accounting controls.
• Strong ERP and reporting systems skills; SYSPRO and Oracle FCCS experience preferred.
• Experience supervising and developing accounting staff; manufacturing environment experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close, journal entries, accruals and general ledger integrity.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and strengthen internal controls.
• Oversee multi-entity consolidations and reporting, including data flow from SYSPRO to Oracle FCCS.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes and travel/expense accounting.
• Coordinate treasury and banking activities, cash forecast and external audits.
